About Chris Latham
Chris has been practicing yoga since 1994 and took his 200hr teacher training at his home studio in Flagstaff Arizona in 2015. In August of that year he took his first Mysore style class with level 2 authorized teacher, Lisa Schrempp, and immediately decided that this was the way yoga was meant to be conveyed. He quickly transitioned from general vinyasa style yoga to exclusively Ashtanga and began commuting to Phoenix weekly to practice under Lisa. Chris began training as Lisa’s Mysore assistant in February of 2016 and continues to do so currently. Chris has traveled extensively, practicing Mysore style Ashtanga yoga under more than a dozen other authorized and certified Ashtanga teachers, including Saraswathi and Sharath Jois in Mysore, India. He believes that Ashtanga yoga is accessible to bodies of all ages, sizes and abilities, and loves to teach those that are new to yoga and to Ashtanga. Chris’s intention is to convey the Ashtanga yoga method to students the way that it was taught to him by Lisa and the Jois family in the tradition of Sri K Pattabhi Jois. You will usually find Chris assisting Lisa in the Mysore room in Phoenix or holding Mysore classes in Flagstaff. He can be reached at 520-237-8714 or email@example.com

About Stephanie Herf
Stephanie has always been intrigued by the brain and its ability to heal. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience; she has studied how the brain reacts and adapts to disorders and disease. As an academic, her research focused on how the brain processed language and information. As a yogi, she was drawn to the practice for its ability to heal both the mind and the body. Stephanie took her first yoga class over ten years ago, and after practicing for two year, she changed careers to study and teach all aspects of yoga. Stephanie studied under Dave and Cheryl Oliver to complete their 200 hour YTT in 2010, and 500 hour YTT in 2011
She was initially attracted by the physical practice, but the spiritual and healing aspects of the practice mirrored her scientific study of the brain. She was quickly drawn to the Ashtanga yoga method and has studied with numerous teachers in the lineage. Stephanie’s passion for Ashtanga is evident both in her daily devotion to all elements of the practice and her thirst for greater understanding through education, as well as her desire to share this experience with her students. In 2014, Stephanie began practicing with authorized Level II teacher Lisa Schrempp and she finally felt that her practice was being nourished and supported. She continues to study under and collaborate with Lisa and hopes to share the lineage and the healing with all who cross her path. Stephanie is eternally grateful to all the teachers, students, guides and gurus who have supported her along the way. Om Namah Shivaya.
